I absolutely cannot figure out how to get the correct UI size on Steam Deck

The first time I played rimworld was on a laptop and I had no issues with any of these screens with the ideoligeon stuff

When I play on Steam deck, I've gotten used to most of the UI scaling stuff, and I've downloaded the custom UI scaling mod which helped to see all of the available technologies in the research tab, but I still cannot get the ideoligeon stuff to display properly. In the native resolution I can see a little more of the reform window but you can't scroll down to see more options nor to save the changes. I tried using a larger resolution but even with that and trying different UI scaling I still get issues like this

Basically I haven't been able to reform any ideologions since playing on steam deck

Anyone have a solution?
